Did you know that in 1949, BDHS had a “Student Patrol.”  Their objectives were “to stop all unnecessary noise in the halls,  to keep children with improper shoes off the gymnasium floor, to keep order on the buses, to keep chains up to avoid accidents, to limit fighting and profane language, and to see that the restrooms are kept clean and in order. Each student had important responsibilities such as posts during fire drills and seeing that the flag is put up in the morning and taken down in the evening.”

I may propose we start such a patrol next school year,  What do you think??
