“Woodsy Hollow” by Kenneth Sanderson
September 21, 2022
Back in the saddle,
Of your own woodsy hollow,
Just on the ocean’s side,
The water’s flannel gray,
You silently think,
Is this truly okay?
You live as a hermit,
Away from it all,
But you will never regret it,
As you wait for the fall,
The colors change,
And you see the world in its truest shape,
Away from it all,
No better place to be after all.
