A huge congratulations goes to Mr. Andrew Miller and the Turf Management class for winning the Sports Turf Managers’ Association (STMA) 2018 Field of the Year award. This prestigious accolade, given to the Donald Lambert football field, is a reward of the class’s impeccably maintained fieldwork.

The Field of the Year competition has three categories: Professional, Colleges and Universities, and Schools and Parks. From there, each category is divided into sections – baseball, soccer, football, softball, and sporting grounds. The members of STMA judge fields from across the United States and Canada, so to be awarded Field of the Year out of so many competitors is a great honor. The class has worked incredibly hard to make our school’s fields both great to play on and aesthetically pleasing, and that effort has clearly paid off well!

Once again, well done to Mr. Miller and his class for such an excellent job!
