Could These Two Athletes Feel a Spark?
The Roar staff arranged a blind date between Senior Luke Lalama and Junior Charlotte Moore. Out of the Blue Crabs and Seafood provided the dinner.
Charlotte: I got there first but only like a minute before him. We met up outside.
Luke: She got there before me.
Charlotte: I sort of knew him before, but I was surprised.
Luke: I knew her before the date, but I wasn’t feeling it.
Charlotte: He was wearing casual clothing, and I was overdressed.
Luke: I was worried because we have very different political viewpoints.
Charlotte: I am vegetarian, so I got a salad. It was good though.
Luke: I ordered wings, they were pretty good.
Charlotte: The date was weird and awkward. I would rate it a 1 out of 5 because I had to start all the conversation.
Luke: I would rate the date a 2 out of 5 because the food was good.
Charlotte: I would not go on a date with Luke again because our personalities did not go well together.
Luke: I wouldn’t go on another date with Charlotte because there were a lot of awkward silences.
